#2 Sew Fine Friday
I can share with you that I will be taking part in Me Made May, I have just signed up for this challenge by the creator of this event Zo a popular sewing blogger you can read more about it on her blog here. #memademay2020 is in it’s 11th year in this challenge the idea is to wear and share your makes with as little or as much of me mades as you want, you can follow my progress on Instagram @sew_shayarana and I will also post on the blog at the end of the month reflecting on how I fulfilled my pledge.
Another week and the chance to puruse some more patterns to inspire you. This week for Sew Fine Friday let me introduce to you In The Folds.

Tutorials: These can be found on the blog, I particularly liked how to sew a button on and and an all in one facing for a top.
Pattern styles: In the Fold patterns are simple, elegant, comfortable to wear yet stylish.
Sizing: in the folds patterns have a uniques sizing system which is lettered, the patterns sizes cover the Australian size range from 6-24
Difficulty indicator: the difficulty level for each pattern is given with in the folds own unique scale
Free Patterns: There are a range of free patterns in collaboration with Peppermint magazine that you can try out to get a feel for In the Folds patterns.
Maker stories: I love this section which you can find under community in the menu. There is a short interview with sewists who have sewn up a In the Folds pattern, photos of the modelled garment and details about any modifications made.
SewShayarana Wish list: The Acton dress, this is a versatile pattern with many looks and I can see myself sew up many versions of this dress!
